SunFX was proud to be awarded the prestigeous Autralian Design Award Mark.

SunFX Pro has been awarded an Australian DesignMark at last Friday's prestigious Australian Design Awards. Out of 63 entries, the SunFX Pro Spray Applicator has also been selected as one of only ten to be displayed at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney as a showcase of outstanding and intuitive Australian design.

The SunFX Pro Spray Applicator is currently the only one of its kind. The aesthetically pleasing and functional features provide any therapist or user with a new level of comfort, safety and savings benefits considerably improving the experience and end result.

"Applicators currently used in the beauty industry are little more than spray guns created for the painting and handyman markets," says Mark Robson, SunFX Pro Director. "We isolated the need for an industry specific toll and it's a great honour to be recognised with a prominent achievement such as the Australian DesignMark.

The local and international response to this innovative design has been overwhelming; evidence that the beauty and tanning industry has embraced this technology whole-heartedly.

"The overall standard of design was generally high and represented a really diverse and exciting range of product areas," said Graham Paver, one of the 2005 judges for the Australian Design Awards, of this year's entries.

SunFX Pro is the first company to have developed high velocity, low pressure spray tanning which uses a safe, alcohol and preservative-free solution. The Pro Series minimises solution use and overspray, and is the fastest application system currently available. The result is an even all over natural looking tan in minutes.
